Destructive Fun With Nitrous: This GEO Meets Its Mechanical Maker With The Help Of Spr29

Nitrous is the most popular and budget minded power adder out there. We know guys who have been running it at the drags for years and years. We also know guys who have waded into the nitrous waters and through some bad advice, inexperience, or over-aggression they have torn stuff up. It should be noted that when used correctly, the stuff is pure magic for making horsepower but like everything else if you decide to break the rules, you are going to tear stuff up and usually do it in spectacular fashion. There’s an additional category of nitrous destruction and that is the stuff that’s often done on purpose for video entertainment. Enter this video.

We picked up the story at about a minute in and you can watch it all below. Skipping over the introduction of the sad sack GEO sedan and it’s 200,000 mile pedigree, we get right down to it with the car’s first dyno pull in stock form. Rather than give away the horsepower numbers from the beginning to the end we want you to watch. Let’s just say that the first pull with spray and ensuing ones get really impressive…until they don’t.

The little 1.8L engine that is in this thing (a Toyota piece, right?) seems to really like the nitrous for a little while and if you can believe it the best parts of the video come when the thing hates the stuff. You will see what we mean when you watch it. Mindless fun, but fun nonetheless. We know that some of you will hate it because they are wrecking a car but the car in question sucks so bad it sure dos not hurt our feelings.

Press play below and watch this poor little Geo get quite literally sprayed to death –
