(Words and photos by Doug Gregory) – This last gallery completes my favorite images of 2018 and has the least action of the three. We did want to make it out to smell race fuel being burnt with fury, but because I still wasn’t feeling well for most of the 2nd-half of 2018 that just didn’t happen. Also….here in Kentucky and the surrounding areas….we have had the rainiest year on record and are still counting. This was definitely the year of weekend rain and the number of cancelled or postponed events was the highest I can recall. That will definitely stifle motorsports and keep me on the couch. We were also without our Chevy II all year as I still haven’t got around to fixing it. I’ve got the stuff, but have not been feeling up to nor had the time to actually get it done. Poor thing has been on jackstands for over a year now. I promise to give her some love soon.
Didn’t really expect to crank out as much content as we did this year. Fairly pleased with what we managed to cobble up and present to you fine folks. Ya’ll have a Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year and we’ll try harder in 2019 to bring you the best stuff we can.
