(Photos by Jose Ferrer) – Yesterday we showed you some killer Mike Brooks photos from Empire Dragway and their Cars and Stars event. Well, we’re back with more ace lens work. This time the photos are coming from the talented eye of Jose Ferrer who shoots in conjunction with Mike. As you can see there were cars of all shapes and sizes and like Beaver Springs the place was packed to the rafters. Jose did a great job capturing wheels up launches, the action in the pits and the whole scene at the track.

Empire Dragway is not far from Lancaster Dragway, which we showed you the other day and the whole area was buzzing through the busy weekend of action at both tracks. The greater Buffalo, New York area is now and has long been a hot bed of drag racing activity and the revived Lancaster Dragway has been a great catalyst to get more and more people back into the fold.
