FINNEGAN DID IT! HE FINALLY MADE REAL PROGRESS ON HIS DRAG CADDY! Turbo Header Fabrication Is Happening Now!

Finnegan’s Caddy is arguably one of his most popular projects, and everyone that follows it loves the updates as Finnegan gets more done. It’s not been a fast project, but given that Mike is building this thing using his own two hands whenever possible, it’s okay. With a full custom chassis and cage setup, that allows for the back seat to still be functional, this is going to be a fun drag and drive ride that will haul four people. Power is coming from the Nelson Racing Engines twin-turbo big block Chevrolet and it is time to put together the hot side of the turbo kit on this 540. Finnegan is building the turbo headers himself, which I totally approve of, but he’s got his work cut out for him since he’s attaching some super sexy Nelson mirror image turbos to them. Check out the process below.

Video Description:

Episode 280 of Mike Finnegan’s Garage features one my my favorite cars, my 1961 Cadillac Coupe DeVille, and I’m custom building my own set of stainless steel headers for the twin-turbo Big Block Chevy. The 540ci monster is going to breathe through 2-1/4 inch primary tubes, which will exit into a 3″ billet stainless steel merge collector and then flow into Nelson Racing Engines Mirror Image turbos. This video is full of tricks, tips and tools that will help you build your own headers, too! Want more info on the stuff I used in this video? Here are some super helpful links for you!
