(Photos by Benoit Pigeon) – Galot Motorsports Park could be the nicest drag strip in the country and these photos continue to prove that fact. Earl Wells and the whole gang that took what was a dilapidated, run down, half-dead, old track and over the course of a couple of years transformed it into one of the best looking, most well thought out track in the world need to be applauded. This is truly an amazing story and we’re hoping the story continues to grow and grow as the years go on. We are fortunate to have two photographers within quick driving distance of the place in both Benoit Pigeon and David Whealon.

This is a collection of photos that Benoit recently shot at Galot Motorsports Park and we like them because you not only see some cool cars, you get to see the track for what it is, a beauty. From the inside of the timing tower which looks absolutely incredible to the expansive stands, pits, and other amenities, no expense was spared and the result is a magnificent place that should be in a prime position to serve the drag racing market in the Southeast for years and years to come.
