(Photos by Charles Wickam) – So far today we have showed you some crazy wheelie photo sequences, but not any real collections of wheelie photos that span the classes, makes, and models which make the Holley National Hot Rod Reunion one of the coolest events on the drag racing calendar each year. You’ll see all different shapes, sizes, and colors of cars here from mighty Mopars like Doug Duell’s Plymouth wagon to smaller stuff like…well…everything else.

The track crew here at Bowling Green did a fantastic getting the track prepped and keeping it to shelf all day long yesterday resulting in the huge ‘stands that you have seen already and all of the cars you’ll see in this gallery lifting the front wheels. With temps in the 80s and direct sunlight on the surface all day long, it got hot out there but it never got greasy or bad for competitors. From the first pair to the last, traction was consistent.
