(Photos by Bryan McTaggart) – While it wasn’t the greatest weather weekend in the history of the Holley NHRA National Hot Rod Reunion, the faithful showed up to brave the elements and enjoy themselves at Beech Bend Raceway in Bowling Green, Kentucky as they have for more than a decade. From the vintage drag cars that show up year after year and never get tiring to look at to the new machines that have been restored, created, or otherwise brought back to life, there are always a number of surprises and unexpected thrills at the event.
