How About A Four Turbo LS Camaro For Fun?! This Car Is Neat And The Kid Is Having Fun!

How About A Four Turbo LS Camaro For Fun?! This Car Is Neat And The Kid Is Having Fun!

If the ultimate goal of hot rodding is to have fun and build yourself a fast car, the kid who built this four turbo LS Camaro is winning on all fronts. This footage from 1320Video pretty much proves that out because we meet the car owner/builder and then we see the thing reel off a succession of low 11-second runs at nearly 130mph.

The second generation Camaro has a 6.0L LS motor in it with upgraded valve springs. The engine is boosted with a quartet, yes FOUR little Borg-Warner turbos. These things are 48mm a piece and they are commonly found on Ford Ecoboost engines and small displacement mills from the likes of VW and others. They can be bought for a song at the junkyard and when working in groups they seem to do a heck of a job.

Perhaps the neatest thing about this car is the sound. All four of the stubby little exhaust stacks are emitting noise as the driver hammers the car down the track and it is different than most anything else you’ll hear today, that is for sure.

We see the car run down the track from a roof mounted camera and from trackside as well. The thing is pretty soft for the first 40-60 feet and then when all four of the little boost makers come on line the thing charges right through the end of the track.

A budget built, junkyard scrounged, four turbo LS Camaro. Hate on it all you want but this dude is laughing all the way to the finish line stripe.

The turbos can be bought from a junkyard?

Just the place to send this pile of shit and its builder for a date with the crusher!

How about you impress us all with some of the fantastic creations YOU’VE built, preferably with some domestic british shit? Oh wait, all that crap has already been crushed, cause it was all junk from the fucking start.

How about you just crush your computer and spare us your retarded comments.

Woah, man, maybe too much caffine, or maybe Santa was unkind? Duno, but, even though I rarely agree with Geordie,(it happened once a long time ago, and, yes, I am ashamed), I think he has a right to be the maroon that he is. Most of us just look the other way, and, shake our heads. I mean come on, who doesn’t really like an LS? Know what I’m sayin?

Oh, BTW, full disclosure, I’m not a Ford fan. I had a brief moment when I considered a 300 cube inline when I couldn’t find a decent 292, but, I came to my senses, and have recently purchased a near mint 292 carb to pan. Seems when it rains it pours, ’cause even before I got the 6 home I bought a 6L LS with an 80E trans. I had been searching for both engines for years. I also have a carb to pan 1966 OHC Pontiac straight 6. All three hanging from the big tree in the front yard. I have project material to last me the rest of my life. I’m a lucky guy.
