It’s One Nasty Vega Versus A Tightly Wound 3000GT In Stockholm (We Think)

It’s One Nasty Vega Versus A Tightly Wound 3000GT In Stockholm (We Think)

There isn’t much that we can say on top of what you are seeing here. We presume that it is a street race, even though it’s being referred to as “Topp10Stockholm”. It’s foggy, it’s on a motorway, and the cars are both well prepared units. The Vega is a nasty little race build with nitrous, while the 3000GT sounds like a lot of work was done to the turbochargers. It’s hand-launched and shut down fairly quickly, with the Vega pulling ahead after a evenly-matched launch. Most of this seems on-par with street racing to us, but to do it in daylight is pretty brazen and to do it when there is such a thick fog seems pretty damn dangerous to us. What do you think?

  1. Tedly

Weird that both cars are orange. That Vega sounds pretty nasty, looked like it never really got a solid bite.

The cars going by in the opposite direction would indicate that this is real street racing, and really dumb given the conditions. Who knows, maybe that was the best day of the year.
