There is something awesome about seeing hard working people getting their shot at a dream, right? Dallas Glenn is one of those hard working guys who is also one hell of a drag racer when he is not helping to prepare and wrench on KB Racing’s fleet of pro stock cars. The guy has thumped them on the regular at Mooresville Dragway, has doubled up in Top and Modified eliminator at an IHRA sportsman national event, and beyond that, has finished in the top 10 of NHRA stock eliminator nationally, and won a national event in Super Gas.
Yes the guy can wrench but he’s a natural born assassin in a race car.
This year he’ll get his shot to run (at least) four races in NHRA pro stock at part of the KB Racing team. RAD Torque Systems and Silver State Plumbing have come to the fore to support this effort and all Dallas to show what he can do with a clutch pedal and a shifter in his hand.
Now, just so you don’t think the dude is too green at this stuff, we’re reasonably sure that he’s been one of the guys operating the burnout car at KB used to break in tires and stuff. That’s an old pro stocker that he’s had plenty of seat time in. While that’s not the same as racing, it’s certainly valuable experience.
We’re excited to see yet another new name come into the pro stock world!

Longtime KB Racing Crew Member Dallas Glenn Gets His Shot at Pro Stock with Help of RAD Torque Systems and Silver State Plumbing
MOORESVILLE, N.C. (February 3, 2021) – For the past eight years, clutch specialist and successful sportsman racer Dallas Glenn has been fully immersed in Pro Stock and with the help of RAD Torque Systems and Silver State Plumbing, a lifelong dream of driving in the factory hot rod class is coming to fruition in 2021.
“RAD Torque Systems and Silver State Plumbing have really made this Pro Stock dream a reality for me,” Glenn revealed. “I’ve been dreaming of racing Pro Stock since I was a little kid and when Jason [Line] and Bo [Butner] stepped away from driving last year, there was a car available. RAD Torque Systems and Silver State Plumbing stepped up and it was a no-brainer.”
Glenn has made a name for himself at the sportsman level with a top ten finish in Stock Eliminator’s national points in 2009 and a Super Gas win at the spring Las Vegas national event in 2010. More recently, he pulled off an impressive double-up in Top and Mod at the IHRA Summit Sportsman Spectacular at Darlington Dragway in 2019. |

Currently, the 30-year-old Mooresville, North Carolina-resident plans on running four races in 2021 to get his feet wet in the category but is open to competing in more races if additional funding comes along. Glenn will still serve as Kyle Koretsky’s car chief on race weekends he isn’t competing.
Glenn will make his NHRA Pro Stock debut at the 52nd annual Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals held on March 12-14, 2021 at Gainesville Raceway. |

Pro Stock? I remember it. It was awesome with Glidden and Hill in the fords vs Reher Morrison and Lee Shepard in the Chevies. We had Buicks until the NHRA became afraid and banned them. There were the Mopars that were caught blatantly cheating. Now? Meh who cares. I used to go to Pomona because of Pro Stock, now I don’t go at all
I live near a lake. I can go there and see turtle shells, lots of them and it doesn’t cost a dime.
