Lights Out was insane. They all are. Every flipping time a DuckX production is executed at South Georgia Motorsports Park, the drag racing world pays very close attention and for good reason. The track is packed, records fall, and drag racing’s most awesome door slammers are at center stage. This year was easily the best racing that the event has ever seen. Hole shots, vert few aborted passes, a couple new world records, and that same rocking crowd mad it so.
NHRA pro stock racer Alex Laughlin took home the $50,000 prize by defeating Daniel Pharris on Sunday afternoon in the event’s premier class, PTC/XS Power Batteries Radial vs The World. Alex got a win out of the Luck Bank when Rivenbark red lighted. They always say you get one lucky round & that was it.
