As we told you the other day lots of the show at the March Meet takes place off of the track. Not that far off of the track, mind you but basically parallel to it in the Famoso Grove. From the guys and girls that sit at the end of the stands in their traditional hot rods and period garb to the wonderful customs that sit on the dusty soil behind the stands, people make it a special point to check out the grove each day. The cars change and the people change so it is fun to keep peeking back in that area to see what’s there and what has departed since the previous day.
The skies have not exactly been beautifully blue since the race started but that seems to have stopped no one from showing up. Here’s what Friday looked like in the Famoso Grove!
