Mark Williams Enterprises Offers The Baddest Powerglide Low Profile Head Yoke For Drag Racing Applications – More Here

If you are a drag racer out there running a Powerglide automatic transmission, like 10s of thousands of others boy do we have a new part for you. This really pertains to the hardcore racers who run a Reid or Dedenbear aftermarket case and need the specialized parts to make their stuff work. Mark Williams Enterprises has introduced a Made in the USA, low profile head version of their existing yoke. The unique part about this Yoke is that it is designed to be shortened for use in fully suspended cars where max driveshaft length is wanted to keep universal joint angles and other factors happy.

If you are building, modifying, or upgrading your suspended dragster, this is the hunk of yoke you want sending the power to the rear axle. Mark Williams can also get you handed for your driveshaft needs as well. One stop shop!

Here’s the full story from Mark Williams Enterprises –

This Powerglide transmission yoke is a special low profile head version of our 39035 yoke for Dedenbear / Reid type roller bearing tail housings. The barrel diameter is 1.499”, with a 4-5/8” barrel length, and 5-3/16” “D” dimension. The shorter head and extra-long barrel allows this yoke to be shortened to increase lengths for suspended dragster driveshafts. The longer driveshaft length is beneficial in reducing the universal joint operating angles.
