The NHRA season is officially cooking with two races in the books and there are a handful of drivers that are cooking right there along with it. Erica Enders and Jack Beckman are two of them. Why? Enders is the defending champion and she snagged victory in Arizona last weekend. Beckman was a killer in the 2019 NHRA Countdown, winning the season closing NHRA Finals and then he started 2020 with a bang winning the Winternationals. He made the final in Arizona where he lost a tough one to teammate Tommy Johnson Jr. That’s why these two racers are the headliners of this episode of the podcast.
The cool thing that Enders and Beckman share is the ability and tendency to give depth to the answers of the questions they are thrown. This is one of the most educationally awesome episodes of the show because both Enders and Beckman explore some topics and some details that don’t normally see the light of day. There’s honesty, there’s some strong opinion here, but most of all, there’s a neat peek behind the curtain of the racing operations that are leading their respective categories’ performance marks.
