Pros vs Joes: Watch NHRA Professional Racers Take On The Best Sportsman Drag Racers In The World In A Practice Tree Battle!

Practice tree “races” have been a thing in drag racing for a very long time. Normally they are a great reason for drag racers to gather in the winter or anytime in the off-season and ply the trade of reaction time competition. It’s friendly, usually there are a few bucks made or lost, and eveyrone goes home with some part of their drag racing appetite satiated. Well, Kyle Seipel and Pete Biondo came up with an idea to pit the best professional NHRA drag racers against the best sportsman drag racers in the world with the Pros Vs Joes Reaction Time Challenge. This is epic and the video is below.

The professional lineup contains racers like Ron Capps, Antron Brown, Erica Enders, Alex Laughlin, JR Todd, Shawn Langdon, Bo Butner, and Jeg Coughlin Jr. On the “Joe” side, there’s Peter Biondo, Johnny Ezell, Luke Bogacki, Scotty Richardson, Johnny Labbous, Gary Williams, Cory Gulitti, and Jeff Verdi. It’s a lineup of bad asses on both sides of this thing.

Adding to the fun is the fact that this show has some production value! Real announcers, fun live looks into the action, and some intensifying musical background. You’ll have to watch to see who actually gets the win here and how the professionals fare against this group of certified insane bad ass sportsman racers. The cash win total for the sportsman racers in this thing is way into the millions. Multiple millions of dollars. Insane.

This is tough stuff.

Haven’t watched it yet but I would have to pick the sportsman racers. The pro racers (TF, FC and PS) all start races with their feet vs sportsman racers who live with the trans brake button which is what practice trees employ.
