They make great poster cars. They are wonderful to use in a video game. And yes, they look impressive and amazing. But in our world, a Lamborghini anything is nothing more than rolling jewelry: it’s beautiful to look at, but that’s about all the use it truly has for us. Why? Cost, reputation, and the assumptions made about the driver. Lambos aren’t cheap, not even if we three combined our yearly pay. Without putting too much information out, you could buy BangShift Mid-West several times over for what a base-model Aventador costs. Then there’s the reputation: yeah, they’re fast, and that we do like, but they are Italian…and Italians use such phrases as “tempermental” and “emotional” with their cars. Which means that it’ll be a moody bitch when you really don’t need it to act up.

Then there is the reputation of a Lamborghini driver. You though Corvette owners were gold-chainers? HA! Unless you live in a place like Dubai or Monaco, most Lambo owners buy and own these things purely as a status symbol and nothing more. And we can’t stomach that thought. Why buy a car if you aren’t going to use the damn thing as it was intended? The thrill of a supercar is when you scare yourself with the insane power that they posses, right? That’s why every kid I knew had a poster of a Countach, or a Diablo, or an F40, or a 959 on their wall.

So where do you go to find Lamborghinis actually driven in anger, blasting out the V-10 and V-12 song for everyone to enjoy? TX2K is a good start…hit play below and check out the twin-turbo monsters that 1320Video shot!

    Awesome!

But lose the big front tyres. junk the street-based suspension and brakes and put the whole car on a diet then you’ll see times in the sevens….
