If you didn’t know, Finnegan bought a new drag boat last year and was planning on racing the hell out of it in California and the western states. On the first outing, after the boat had been sitting for some time, they had issue with water getting into the oil and were making milkshakes on every pass. They thought they had it sorted, turns out they didn’t, and ultimately didn’t finish the weekend the way they wanted. So they took the boat back to a friends, did some work on it, and were hoping everything was ready for the first event of the 2023.
Apparently, things didn’t go quite to plan. Watch to find out why.
Video Description:
Episode 131 of Mike Finnegan’s Garage is all about going drag boat racing on the Colorado River and I’ve got good news; This is the first of two shorter episodes about the weekend and then I’ll also have a longer episode once I get home and have time to finish it. We are legit uploading this video from the racetrack on raceday. lol
And of course, nothing ever goes according to plan and the engine has water in the oil again! Hope you like this series. Check back Tuesday February 7th for Part 2. Thanks for watching!

I like his videos, But I’m beginning to think. He is always having issues. Nothing seems to ever just go well long term. Are we creating DRAMA for content? Seems like they have rebuilt the Hemi in his 55 a dozen times in a parking lot. It’s getting hard to watch due to his missteps. I know it would be boring to always go out and win. But he is becoming the Gomer Pile of hot rods.
