PDRA World Finals Action Photos – One Last Look At The Baddest Eighth Mile Cars in The World

(Photos by David Whealon – DW-Photos) – We’re back with our second and final installment of sweet David Whealon photos from the 2016 PDRA World Finals at Virginia Motorsports Park. This was a huge event as we mentioned yesterday and the numbers that these cars were laying down fell right inline with the typical insanity that any PDRA event brings. Deep, deep 3-second passes from the premier eighth mile door slammers in the world and a bunch of variety as well.

If you like nitrous, turbos, centrifugals, roots blowers, screw blowers, or just massive naturally aspirated engines the PDRA has something and someone for you to root for. The series has announced its 2017 schedule and they will be kicking things off in a couple of months. That means that many of the cars you see in these photos will be going under the knife to be modified, upgraded and changed to be made even better for the 2017 season. We can’t wait!
