Gateway Motorsports Park’s weather tends to be a fairly simple prediction anytime BangShift appears: hot and humid. We sweat, and when the sun goes down, we get eaten by the ravenous mosquitoes from the Mississippi River. We love the track, we do not approve of the weather 95% of the time. But for Anarchy At The Arch IV, we approve…oh, do we approve: cool, dry, and when the sun goes down the temperature sinks like an ocean liner. We saw 59 degrees on the mercury on Saturday night! This is August, not October!

And who relishes in those colder, denser temperatures? The big tire monsters that everybody comes out to see, the Pro Mods. Keith Haney, Jim Sackuvitch, Josh Vettle, and the rest of the racers have been working to cope with the lovely air and the track, which saw increased bite courtesy of some reworking from Friday night. This was the precursor to some absolutely monster runs from these guys, and they did not disappoint!
