We don’t know where this was filmed at, we don’t know why it looks like the dead of winter, and we don’t really understand why a go-kart that sounds like a super bike’s engine got repurposed was lined up against one of the more evil Karmann Ghias we’ve laid eyes on. But, you know what? Doesn’t matter. In the near lane, you have an obviously well-thought out classic Volkswagen that brings back memories of happier times, not the current maelstrom that they are sitting in. In the other side is every teenager’s dream: a go-kart that will actually, properly haul ass and nobody around to tell them they shouldn’t do this. We’d love to know a little bit more about what’s going on here, but it’s a drag race between two of the stranger vehicles we’ve seen hit the starting line together. Just hit play and enjoy!

It would look stunning in satin black – and the only answer to VW’s current problems is to fit the classic boxer engine in all their cars!
