Roadkill! It’s The Roadkill Boys and the Mighty Car Mods Dudes Together At Last!

Roadkill! It’s The Roadkill Boys and the Mighty Car Mods Dudes Together At Last!

Here’s an episode that many Roadkill and Mighty Car Mods fans have been waiting for. For the first time we see two of the internet’s most popular automotive tandems together and having lots of laughs. The premise here was pretty simple. All four of these guys are cut from the same cloth and it seemed like it would be a natural fit for them to get together and have some fun. Boy was that right! The Aussies were tasked with putting together a car for Freiburger and Finnegan while the Roadkill crew was given the same job for their counterparts from Down Under. The result? Big fun!

The old blower engine from the crusher Camaro gets employed to repower a 1969 Chevy Impala and the Aussies manage to make something freakishly cool out of a Subaru WRX. The best part though is the automotive culture shock that the Mighty Car Mods guys have at the size, appearance, mechanical function, and finish of the Impala. They are legitimately amazed that something like that could be driven on the road. At one point they kind of ask each other if they should even be driving the thing on public streets until the quick response, “We are!” gets shouted above the din of the supercharged rat motor.

As usual these guys seems to be having the most fun on the internet and the only things we feel bad for are the tires on the ugly old Impala. Particularly the right rear which receives levels of punishment that have perhaps never been leveled upon the back end of an Impala.

Roadkill VS. Mighty Car Mods in a fun battle of freaky cars. This is good stuff and a fun watch.

Not saying very much, is it ?

Another black eye for the hobby, this time x 4 ?

I haven’t laughed this much at a youtube series in a long time. I hope they do a few more crossovers. That Impala, as is, with a limited slip and proper wiring would make a hilarious cruise-night car. The Subaru’s neat too.

the roadkill guys have cashed it in, do they even want to be there, good grief. watch the mcm side of the episode they put in the effort and enthusiasm. just end roadkill before it gets worse, lucky costa should get his own show w/ a new sidekick.

I agree, Roadkill has jumped the shark. Their earlier episodes involved some thought and some cool adventures. Now….I’m constantly disappointed and slightly annoyed at the jerry rig everything mentality.

Great episode. Awesome to see people not take themselves near as seriously as this hobby “requires.” If you can’t laugh at yourself…..

I work in the auto electric business. These corn-ball guys make me laugh and wish I had a blown big block Impala to do peg-leg burnouts for days. How do I get paid to have fun at my job? I laughed a lot while watching this episode. In my next life I will wear Jesus sandals to work and get paid to be a dork like Frieburger, Wait, I am already a dork, and I own Jesus sandals, and I don’t get paid for any of it.
    What the heck?

Some of the recent episodes haven’t been as good as the earlier ones but this was much more like it! My dad and I sat laughing at the Impala and we both decided it should have monster treads under the back on a narrowed axle, kind of like an anti-fairground cruiser. Keep it spotty and horrible looking but go like a raped ape!
