Let’s check the boxes on what this Ford F-150 is not: It’s not a Lightning. It’s not loud, it’s not tubbed out, and it’s not spraying nitrous (that we can see, at least). It’s not stock, the lowering job and the wheels and tires tell you that, and it’s pulling up to the starting line like a fairly mellow street truck. Sure, it lights up the tires nicely in the burnout box, but it’s a V8 rear-wheel-drive truck. Most of them can do that…how fast can this Ford really be? Maybe it’s a low 13-second street truck with a lot of looks and a mild tune? If you’re willing to buy that line, well, I guess I’ll buy the first beer to help you forget the whipping you are about to receive, buddy. This Ford does not play around and anyone who thinks they can run it down the track had better have the gear to back it up.
