Sleeper Video: Watch The Most Ragged Looking 11-Second Truck In America Waste A Corvette!

We’ve certainly showed you some ragged looking sleepers here on BangShift over the years but this one may be the best yet. Hell, even though it is slower than the now well known “farm truck” it looks worse and is way less assuming than even that thing. There’s no big tires to hide, no roll cage to speak of, and lots of rot. This truck looks like most of the surviving 1973-87 Chevy and GMC pieces on the eastern seaboard. Unless they were garage kept, restored, or really maintained to the highest degree, the tin worm liked to eat these trucks up. All that being said, for the purposes of this application, the look is absolute perfection.

This truck does not sound like it is blown or turbocharged and judging by where the driver shifts it at, there is big block power under the hood. The motor may not scream to the moon but we bet it makes torque like a steam ship down low. The guy in the other lane is piloting a relatively late model Corvette and we’re sure some truly profane things were flashing through his mind as the end of the course came up and the pickup continued to motor away from him.

The guy looks to launch the truck in 4WD, especially judging by the little bit of weirdness you see in the front end just after the truck gets by the 60′ cone or so. We don”t know if he kept it in 4WD all the way down or if he pulled the transfer case into two-high range at some point. Either way, it takes off well and pulls right to the finish line. The use of normal truck tires and beat up cruddy wheels with no trim rings also has us smiling. Hell, this truck looks like it belongs in a parking lot with a plow on it!

That’s enough of us gushing…press play below and watch this crummy looking truck really ruin a Corvette owner’s day!

    That’s my old truck…. Lol. It’s got a very mild 472 Cadillac big block 700r4 with a 2400 stall 3.42 gears and a 150 shot of nitrous. It’s best so far is 11.49@115 with a 1.58 60 foot.

Brian, my Dad loves what u have done with the old truck. It has been to thousands of dirt bike races to watch and now it is the one racing!!!!

Many people underestimate the caddy motors, I used to race a 1972 coupe deville with a 472cid and 411 posi that would pull 11.36 in the quarter mile. I led less in my car than most had in their tires.

Yes they have lots of torque I have 8 of them in various stages of build. I have a 534 with a lot better heads I would like to try in it but I would say the input shaft of my 700 is taking all it can now lol.
