(Photos by Wes Allison) – If there is one thing that some people like to knock about radial racing, it is the track prep. The surface needs pretty much constant care and attention and by the end of a weekend people are tired of seeing the tractors. Having called radial style races for about a decade now, I can tell you that it’s a necessary evil. If you are going to have an event where guys run as hard and as fast as they can, they need the surface to do it on. Small third and big traction make for one heck of a show and No Mercy along with other races continues to prove that.

Many of the “cars” look like the fibreglass wasn’t cured yet and when they sat in the sun they melted. Thank God for the Fox bodies and the old Camaros that still look like real cars.
