Stevie “Fast” Jackson and “Fast Jack” Beckman join Brian Lohnes on this episode of the NHRA Insider podcast. Jackson and Beckman are fresh off US Nationals wins and come into the Amalie Oil NHRA Gatornationals with momentum on their side. Jackson also recently reset a world record in radial tire drag racing and he tells Lohnes about the challenges that are associated with each style of competition.

Beckman talks about the trials and tribulations of the funny car season and being in an amazingly tight battle for the points with his teammates.

These are two guys who are about at the top of their respective games at the moment and it will be fun to see how they are able to take whatever momentum one can achieve in 2020 and translate it into a potential championship. Beckman is facing the tough situation of not having a sponsor in 2021 so he’s driving like every race could be his last.
