(Photos by Joe Grippo) – We’re back with another great gallery from “The Grove” as the kids are calling it these days. Word on the street is that stock and super stock were a battle royale at this event and only the warm up to this weekend’s contest at Englishtown, where many of these racers will be jumping ugly at each other less than a week after they were in attack mode at the event in PA. In this gallery there’s plenty of action, some pit photos, and lots of diversity as far as makes and models go. I happened to be one a bit of a Chrysler kick and that’s why both of the above and below photos are Chrysler centric.

The super stock a-modified Duster below is flipping all time and most likely powered by a NASCAR style Dodge engine. We’re hoping that car shows up at E-Town and makes some laps because we’ll be fogging up the glass in the tower by breathing heavily when that machine comes to the starting line. The best thing about stock/super stock is that you never really know what’s coming around the corner until you can see it and even then, this is a dark, dark, dark event.
