(Photos by Greg Rourke) – Yesterday we showed you Greg Rourke’s first batch of fine photos from a cool race track known as Central Illinois Dragway which is located in Havana, Illinois. We’re sure that like us, you looked at the photos and thought, “Hey, that’s a pretty nice looking joint!” There’s a reason that this place is so good looking and that reason is the guy who owns the place and has invested major sums of money into the restoration and upgrading of the facility. The man’s name is Frank Hutto and for the last 3-4 years, he’s spent untold sums on bringing the facility up to modern standards and making the racing experience better for everyone who comes through the gates. His money has not gone to waste as the track is a fine example of what a cared for, professionally run strip should look like. Greg fell in love with the place the second he pulled through the gate.

The injected Vega below is one of the most perfect cars we have seen this year and we’ve seen many hundreds of cars ranging from the awesome to the sublime across the country.
