Event Coverage: The 2021 Pittsburgh World Of Wheels Is More Proof That We’re Heading For A Fun Hot Rod Summer

(Words and photos by Mike Brooks) – After what seems like an eternity of not being at car events (14 months to be exact) I’m finally back as shows and events in my part of the country are starting back up. The Autorama/World of Wheels car show circuit is off to a later start this year due to reasons we are all aware of, but it’s happening and that’s all guys like me can ask for.

The Pittsburgh World of Wheels show is no exception, and the show was fantastic. Things are starting to get back to normal, and it was obvious that car folks were ready to get back in the scene! The car count was the largest it’s ever had, and spectators were more than ready to mask up, and get down in steel town. The Pittsburgh car/truck scene is pretty vast and this show proves it with its mix of classics, hot rods, exotics, race cars, modern customs and more.

I had a great time at the show, it was so good to be back! If you weren’t there, you should’ve been! As more shows roll out to the rest of the country, you owe it to yourself and the car hobby to get to one near you!
