(Photos by Wes Allison) – The Petersen Automotive Museum is the largest piece of Robert E Petersen’s lasting legacy on the American landscape. The place is incredible and having seen it in the “old” format about 20 years ago and again as the revitalized palace that it is today, it’s simply an amazing place.
Last weekend we were there for the All-American Cruise-In and while on the property we took the time to cruise the museum and check out some of our favorite stuff. We have more photos coming tomorrow. By no means is this a complete tour of the property but it’s a good indication as to why you need to have this spot on your list of places to visit.
From the swoopy lines of the James Hetfield commissioned coupes you’ll see here to the swivel frame equipped Power Wagon, EVERYONE has something to love at the Petsersen!
