The guys on the Round Six podcast have a good thing going. Each episode they take someone from the gearhead realm and put them through the wringer with emotional questions, highly charged language, and a confrontational journalistic style unlike anything else on the internet. Just kidding. They are a group of funny guys who love cars and yakking with others who feel the same way. Recently, they were desperately low on content and ideas or maybe the sixth guy on their pick list bailed out so they had me on their show. It was one of the coolest hours I have spent in recent weeks. We laughed about all kinds of weird and wacky stuff, we talked about drag racing, the NHRA, the way things are going, BangShift, and the list goes on and on and on. Along the way we literally laughed ourself stupid.
Lots of times guys with Podcasts and other shows think that they are Edward R Murrow or Walter Cronkite. These guys thankfully harbor none of those illusions and I’d suggest that once you listen to my drivel you go ahead and listen to some of the guys who actually have good stories like Chip Foose and other hot rodding heavyweights.
It is always fun to talk cars, drag racing, and BangShift. Just don’t get offended Mopar fans, I may have cracked a joke or two at your expense in this one. Remember, we kid because we love. Maybe.
