They Came, They Saw, They Lost: Buffalo Small Tire Racers Take Care Of Street Outlaws Heroes – Photo Coverage

(Photos by Mike Brooks) – Our man Mike Brooks was on the scene of a very busy night at Lancaster Dragway outside of Buffalo, New York a couple of weekends ago. Street Outlaws Kamikaze Chris was in town with his El Camino and Boosted GT was in town with his…well Boosted GT Mustang. They were there to take on two of the gnarliest small tire cars in the area, those belonging to Doug Vanstrom (shown above) and Moe Alfaqih. By all accounts the local boys took care of business in front of a packed house and showed the out of towners the way home.

Lancaster Dragway is a real success story in the fact that the track was completely resurfaced early this year, the management team has taken on some new programs, and the stands have been filled more often than they have in years. The track is not done yet and has a massive event in the works for Labor Day Weekend that we will, keep you up to date on as it get closer. Brooks was on hand with his picture taking machine and he did a fine job of capturing the night through action, crowd photos, and the like.

This was a huge success for Lancaster Dragway and we are happy to see it. The track has been there since dinosaurs roamed the Earth, nearly died a couple of years ago and is now thriving again. What’s not to love?!
