We want to do engines that scare the hell out of people who call themselves engine builders.” This is the most awesome line that the president of Ed Pink Racing engines, Frank Honsowetz delivers through this amazing film.
Drag racing launched Ed Pink racing engines but it was Pink’s amazing attention to detail and ability to hire the best people in the industry that saw his company spread its wings into IndyCar racing, USAC racing, developing complete engines from scratch, and now working as the supplier to the epic Singer company that builds the coolest modified Porsches on the planet.
For eight minutes you get to see inside this bunker of engine heaven. You’ll notice that the majority of the employees are older guys. It’s said in the video that most of the people in the building actually worked directly for Pink before he retired more than 10 years ago.
There are engine builders, there are legacy names in high performance and then there is Ed Pink Racing Engines. This is a really amazing tour of a really amazing place.
