This Mercedes C63 Is A Ten-Second Stomper With A Bellowing Exhaust Note

“Wait a minute,” you might be thinking, “the Mercedes C-class…isn’t that the small one? Why does it sound like Hell’s own guard dog growling?” That, gearheads, is the sound of one severely pissed off AMG-tweaked and supercharged C63, the model you do not toy with. The 6.2L V8 really doesn’t need any help, as it packs at least 503 horsepower stock, but with 8psi of force-fed air being supplied by a Weistec supercharger cooled by an ice tank, the baby Merc now makes 550 horsepower…at the tires. Other than the carbon-fiber air boxes and a rebuilt 7-speed automatic, this thing is relatively stock, and is seriously evil. That noise is just sinister, and running in the upper tens down the quarter every single time is solid for any street-going car, let alone one that doesn’t seem to have a problem with Australia’s hoon police.

theres one of these that gets around my town….no idea whats been done to it but it must have some anti laggy type thingo done to it….it sounds like a pissed off 4 cyl f1 car if you can imagine it, does these gear changes that seem to take a zillionth of a nanosecond with little pops n farts out the exhaust which could potentially be cool, but the tool that owns it bombs around the busiest shopping precinct doing these f1 gear changes all the way up to 50 kp/h ( about 30 odd mp/h ) so it actually looks completely wanky. no idea if its a V8 but going by the sound it makes I highly doubt it
