Tim McAmis and his crew have designed a parachute cover and accessories that will keep your chute clean and dry from rain at the track or hauling your ride on an open trailer. Both are good, but the real need comes from all of our fellow Drag and Drive competitors. Many drag and driver racers have chutes and leave them on for the drives. Some use the chute’s tether attachment location as a trailer hitch as well, but still leave the chute in the bag mounted to the car when driving. That’s fine, and isn’t an issue, as long as it is dry outside. But when it rains, and your chute is now soaking wet, it requires pulling that thing out and letting it air dry to keep it from becoming a moldy and crusty mess.
Whatever your reason for needing to keep your parachute weatherproof, this new cover from McAmis will do the trick. And it has some thoughtful accessories that go with it.
