(Photos by Bob Boudreau) – By now you know what’s going on with these photo galleries. Canadian photographer Bob Boudreau has been rummaging through his old negatives and producing the coolest photos that he is finding from his trips to New England Dragway in the 1970s. You’ll see Wild Willie Borsch’s funny car in this gallery and it is sporting new paint, a Chrysler hemi in place of the big block Chevy we showed you in an earlier gallery and other cars have changed as well.
Local heroes, “King and Marshall” are shown in this gallery with a photo of their funny car on the starting line. Jimmy King, one half of the hard running pair was honored as the grand marshall of last year’s New England Hot Rod Reunion, which is being reprised again this year promises to be fantastic. Outside of those guys there’s Joe Jacono’s famous Rollin’ Stoned fuel coupe with the bombed out caveman painted on the side, Jungle Pam in a go-kart, Roger Lindamood…and on and on.

I was wearing my BangShift t-shirt when my car spit this muffler out and it got ran over by a band new ZL1 Camaro. That’s greatness. And to think I got banned over a couple of assholes. https://scontent-sjc2-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/18951233_484838608515775_9023619916613473128_n.jpg?oh=f535e3aca1f3af7076c7270d54cb1362&oe=59A6959E
