Watch Kevin Fiscus Make Multiple 5-Second, 250mph Runs On Radials – Amazing!

The Fiscus/Klugger racing team had one hell of a weekend at the 2016 World Cup Finals at Maryland International Raceway just days ago. With Kevin Fiscus at the wheel, the infamous little blue Mustang ran repeated quarter mile passes in the five second zone at over 250mph. Not that it became commonplace but people had an expectation that the car would continue to do it for the entirety of the event. This video shows the car working both inside and outside and it’ll give you an appreciation of exactly what it looks like to muscle this Mustang down the track at full boogie.

Radial racing is largely an eighth-mile sport now so it is always interesting to see one of the few venues where quarter mile pulls are made. It was not long ago that we saw Roger Holder make some amazing low 6-second runs on radials at the Street Car Super Nationals in Las Vegas and we expected the five second barrier wold be shattered soon. It took a little time but as you will see, Fiscus/Klugger Racing had the program to get it done. Proline power and fantastic tuning brought them the glory at Maryland.

So now the race is on for the next performance barrier with radial tires. We cannot wait to see what it looks like next weekend at the PSCA Street Car Super Nationals!
