2019 Cincinnati Cavalcade Of Customs Photo Gallery: More Photos Of BangShifty Stuff!

(Words and photos by Doug Gregory) – We haven’t been to a Somernites cruise in a while and perhaps this year we ought to get back there.  This ’84 C10 is one of their raffle vehicles this year and the next photo is of their ’32 roadster that is also being raffled in 2019.  No you don’t have to go to get tickets, but why wouldn’t you want to get them in person and enjoy one of the best cruises around.

The Granny Goose cars made the scene and owner Ray Nash had them looking as good as ever.  Killer Coatings/Dream Wraps always has plenty examples of their fine work on display and my two favorites were this fat-tire Fox-body and the GT-R with both sporting liveries harking back to past awesomeness.  A trio of dragsters were situated near the center and their power comes from three different sources.  One a BBC, one a massive Hemi, and the third uses a production block GM 4.3 V6 to produce over 700hp NA…!!!

There’s another early Mustang with late-model power, three pedals, and a corner-carving theme.  How about this beige ’62 Fairlane looking like it just rolled out of the showroom.  This show has always had plenty examples of 50s mild customs and this year was no exception.  Lastly check out this stunning blue ’40 Ford coupe.  The wide whites, stance, and dressed up steelies really set it apart.

Over halfway through our coverage.  Come back and check out the rest of the show
