This 2019 Circle Track Spectator Drags Video May Be The Coolest “Stock Car” Racing Footage On The Internet

Maybe we’re weird, maybe we’re wrong, and maybe we’re right. We think that this compilation of 2019 spectator drags highlights from Beech Ridge Speedway in Maine could be the most fun circle track racing video on the internet. What’s more interesting than seeing different styles of cars and trucks with amateur drivers racing wheel to wheel?! Mustangs vs Oldsmobiles, look at the lead photo for Pete’s sake! This is not about the wreckage and mistakes, in fact there’s very little of that here. This is about insanely close racing and fun cars.

If you stick with the video for a few minutes you’ll see a late 1970s Chevy half ton truck that is just bad ass. You can hear a turbo whistling under the hood, it has polished slot mags on it, and the thing flat out flies with a driver who can wheel.

Imports vs domestics! Big heavy stuff with power and light little stuff with none. Some of the cars look pretty hack and some them are show quality. It’s fun to watch the strategy and skill level either rise to the occasion of get build in front of the crowd.

Honestly, this is way more entertaining than pro level stock car racing…or are we wrong?

real racing! About time! I\’m sick of the muppets runing, ruining over complicating everything with bullshit safety concerns. I\’m sick of the fake cars no one will ever own or drive, NO ONE CARES ABOUT THE DRIVERS. The best part is the lack of marketing we ALL hate your commercials. love this stuff.
