2020 Lone Star Throwdown Photo Coverage: More Awesome Trucks Of All Shapes And Sizes In Texas!

(Photos by Mike Brooks) – The Lone Star Throwdown is billed as “The World’s Greatest Truck Show” and after looking at some of Mike Brooks’ photos from the event we cannot help but agree. This thing is insanity with machines of all makes, models, sizes, and styles flooding into Texas to show off and to see what others have done with their rigs.

Of course the popular models dominate the show but even in this gallery you are going to see everything from late model Ford and GM stuff to vintage buses, International-Harvesters, stock looking trucks, duallys that have been wrenched on, kinds in miniature trucks, and a whole lot more.

The idea of this show even like 15 years ago would have been laughable. Since then, trucks have become such a huge part of the hot rodding world that they may overtake cars if the trend continues over the next few years. The size and scope of this show are proof positive. The fact that trucks can be had for cheap, can be wrenched on easily, and can be made into hot rods, drag machines, street machines, and more means that the options are endless.

Don’t believe us, look at these photos!
