(Photos by Wes Allison) – Oh yes, the photographic hits just keep on coming from the recent 2021 Goodguys Summit Nationals presented by PPG. This VW hitting lead off above certain attracted it’s fair share of attention! There were loads of cars and trucks that had the assembled masses of people buzzing and crawling all over them. It’s an impossible thing to measure but something that has been true of huge shows like this for years. They serve as massive inspiration for builders and dreamers who attend them.
Where do you think trends start and explode in this realm outside of these shows. If guys love the way a particular car looks and they zap some photos of it, chances are they’re not going home that night to change their hot rod around but in time or the next car they build may include some inspiration from things that they saw. There’s LOTS of fresh ideas coming out of Columbus 2021.
