Zane McNary is a bad ass, and most often shoots photos of land speed racing at El Mirage and Bonneville, but he’s a car guy and loves to attend races of all kinds which is why you’ve seen his photos here on BangShift.com from places like Famoso where he attends the March Meet. But when he sent us a message this weekend saying he had uploaded photos from the recent sprint car and midget races at Perris Auto Speedway here in California, we had no idea how cool those photos would be. Great action, with dirt flying, drivers focused, wheels up, sideways, and crazy. We’ve got them all right here for you to check out.
Check out the steering angle that is going on in some of these photos. And take a look at the smoking right rear tires on some of the cars as they get their groove on. If you haven’t been to a dirt track race before, know that a really good track will get a blue groove of rubber running around it by the time the Feature or A-Main gets rolling.
