We love Z cars. There is just something sexy about the early cars, and they look so good with big or small flares and some tire under them. Plus, they just beg for V8 power and thanks to a heavy inline 6 cylinder from the factory a small block or LS engine doesn’t make the thing heavier and ill handling. They are also pretty comfy inside and the suspension has been tweaked and changed so many different ways you can get one setup any way you like it for any type of racing. They were awesome race cars back in the day and continue to be popular because people keep racing them even now. Datsun did them right, that is for sure!

This one is a cool example of wide body goodness, and we dig it. The ad is kind of funny because it is very serious on the one hand and doesn’t give a lot of info on the other, but we’re okay with that. From what we can tell this would be a good project start and at $14,430 we think just a few tweaks has you racing this thing this weekend. Check it out.
