We love the Mongrel Project from Urchfab around here and have been going through a bit of withdrawals lately as the car has gotten minor tweaks while waiting to be ready for paint and body work. The paint shop has been slammed, and so the car has been sitting waiting its turn to head into the booth. Well that time has come! Paint is on its way for the cool flared conglomeration of Miata and Ford 100E that we have grown to love. Throughout the build every detail and design idea has been discussed and executed for all of us to see. And the explanation behind each detail is not only entertaining but educational and inspiring as well. In fact, the inspiration folks get from these projects is probably the thing that is most impressive and fun about them.

Matt has been talking about the paint shop that is doing the bodywork for several weeks, while moving into his new shop, and we’re so excited to see that they have finally got this little bastard in their sites.
