(Photos by Cole Reynolds) There are a lot of great Goodguys Car Shows, all over the country, but the one in Del Mar has always been one of our all time favorites. It is our closest to home, but it isn’t just that. There is a lot going on in the Del Mar area, the camping is great at the show, and the autocross always draws a lot of great cars and a huge crowd. There is no doubt that it is a must attend event and that is why there is such a festival atmosphere in town when the Goodguys roll in. The fact that these fairgrounds are so close to the ocean that you can walk to the beach, and that they have killer buildings and a huge horse racing facility, is only part of the charm. The quantity and level of hot rods at this show are also something special and that’s why we keep coming back.

Hot rods, muscle cars, street machines, trucks, classics, imports, and domestics, you’ll see them all at Goodguys Del Mar. In this first batch of photos you’ll see some autocross action and some photos from the show, with a lot more coming throughout the week. No matter what kind of cars you are into, there will likely be something here that makes you smile. I know that there is a lot in here I wish I had in my garage!
