The Supercar Destroyer!!! This Twin Turbo, Old School LT1 Powered, 1967 Corvette Hammered The Lambos

This C2 Corvette is greatness! At a recent standing half mile race this sucker was going nearly 180 mph and handing Lambo owners their asses! We love this of course. The car is a father and sons project and one that does a lot with what most people would consider a really old engine. The LT1 small block. We’re talking old school small block Chevrolet architecture and that means no super flowing LS heads like most people expect in this thing. We dig it, and you will too. Watch.

Well, though I do like the LS-series heads, they are not God’s gift to hot rodding. If they were GM wouldn’t be using Cleveland-style ports on the newest LT1/LT4s.

An early LT1 is nothing to scoff at. Low-tech it might be, but is cheaper to replicate than most and will turn a good number. Being a fan of LSR and nostalgia racing…..there’s plenty of old-school combos that can run the number and then some. Oh…and they will look a lot better doing it. 🙂

I wonder how CROW tastes in Italy? The Lambos were sure eating it that day! Love that it’s a father & sons project, and their craftsmanship is fantastic! American muscle wins without doors that open funny!!
