The whole process of flaring a car can be pretty intimidating, but when done right it is not only good looking but also a great way to stuff more tire under your handling machine. Steel, fiberglass, or carbon fiber, there are multiple materials available for making them, but ultimately it comes down to what materials you are most comfortable with and what look you are going for. In this cool video from the guys at Team Boosted you’ll see a 911 Porsche get the widebody treatment in the form of some Carbon Fiber Flares. The same method can be used to build them out of fiberglass, but this sure is cooler.
