How To Build Your Own Chassis Table With The Guys From Eastwood

How To Build Your Own Chassis Table With The Guys From Eastwood

With my son Cole’s Project First LUV in the grinding phase, we’re looking forward to the next phase after frame cleanup which is suspension design. Following that we’ll be doing our chassis fabrication and suspension installation which is going that the chassis be precisely located. We’ve got a rolling stand that we can use to hold the chassis in place, but it’s not really as big as I’d like to do full chassis and suspension fabrication. Modifying it to be what we need is an option, but when I can across this cool video from Eastwood showing them building their own chassis table, I knew this is what we’ve got to do. Mobility is going to be key for me, since we have limited space in the shop, and this one seems like just the ticket.

Don’t need to fabricate a complete chassis? This is still a great video to watch. You could easily do a taller, but smaller, version of this as a fabrication table for small projects. We are going to start looking for parts, because we’re going to need this!
