Video: Full Contact Superstock Dirt Track Racing From The Crazy Kiwis!

Video: Full Contact Superstock Dirt Track Racing From The Crazy Kiwis!

When Dave Nicki sent us the link to this crazy video of full contact Superstock cars racing on dirt in New Zealand, I didn’t think much of it. After all, his email said they run V8’s and reach speeds of up to 80 mph. Doesn’t sound all the exciting to me. Of course, I didn’t read far enough down to see where he said “Yes, contact is allowed.” If I had, I would have spent entirely too much time drooling over all these cool videos! I have put two of them in this blog item that you will love.

Oh and they have to weigh between 1400 and 1500 kg, without the driver. That’s 3086.472 to 3306.934 pounds, for all you people that don’t do the kilo thing. I didn’t really read the rest of the email, and thought to myself “Okay, I’ll check this out and run it sometime this week.” WOW! I’m dumb! This is some of the coolest racing! You have to watch the two videos below. If you don’t immediately want to do this, then your BangShift Card is hereby revoked.

This first video is from Dave’s YouTube Channel, Petrolfumes Productions, and shows a Runoff. In this runoff, two drivers battled it out alone on the race track to see who gets to go to the finals for the night.

The video below is a team event. The two teams are trying to take each other out so that their team can “win” the race.

And we finally have an answer to one of the most important Bangshift questions ever: “What if bumper cars had V8 power?”
