Matt from Urchfab is a cool dude with a cool YouTube Channel that we tune into often. He builds cool stuff, tells it how it is, and shares his life in front of the camera along with the occasion behind the camera life comment. In this video he’s showing off the new shop space, with will soon be home to Urchfab, as well as giving you a look at what it takes to make a living from YouTube. This guy is doing it, has started from little to no followers, and can tell you just what it is like to work your way up the ranks. We dig it and you should too.

I’ve been thinking about creating a channel. My wife keeps encouraging me to do so. We are starting her project in the next few weeks, so the timing is good. I don’t know how to edit videos, which is my big hurdle. I also have no illusions about being the next Mighty Car Mods. I know I won’t make money off you tube. But it might be a laugh, which is up my alley.
I’ve created a channel called Bodgery Barn, which has mostly been a “When I find some random thing that needs fixing, I fix it and make fun of my own ineptitude” series. Getting these things up consistently is more work than it looked like. Which is why I haven’t done it very often.
