(Words and photos by Dave Nutting) – “What’s this madness, another photo gallery from CAM Challenge East?” Like I warned you earlier in the week, I took A LOT of photos that weekend, and I haven’t even gotten to my writeup of the event yet! (Spoiler Alert: I drove poorly, but had a blast regardless)

Friday afternoon of the event was used for tech-in of vehicles as well as a test-n-tune session for $10 per five runs. While you won’t see the same variety of cars in this gallery, you’ll notice a few that were not in the Saturday or Sunday galleries, either because they were CAM-C cars and I was running my car at the same time as them, the engine blew (Check out the smoke coming out from under that blue Mustang!), or for various other reasons. You may even see a familiar looking black Monte Carlo SS with gold GTA wheels. How I managed to both drive my car and get photos of it with my camera is a secret I’ll take to my grave, but it’s nice to finally have photos of my car (Thanks Chris and Lance!).
